Robert Spriggs (Transport Director)
Robert has over 20 years of experience in the field of transport planning, traffic engineering and highways.  He started his career in Local Government working for a County Council followed by a London Borough.  He then moved into consultancy where he has been for 14 years, working for a variety of small to medium sized practices, and until recently heading up the regional office of a major consultancy.  Attracted by the firm's entrepreneurial spirit and professionalism, Robert joined Callidus as its Transport Director in 2011.

Robert is a Chartered Town Planner and Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport and has worked on commissions throughout the UK and overseas in Romania, Malta, India and Rep. Ireland.  His experience ranges from supporting schemes of private sector developers, to public realm design work and strategic policy development.

Robert is a proficient transport modeller and scheme designer.  He is also a visiting lecturer at Bath University on transport appraisal and modelling and Bristol University on traffic engineering.
